Gaston Humane Society

This is Colby. She is a 5 year old Labrador retriever who is trained in the detection of ignitable liquids commonly used in the crime of arson. K9 Colby was trained by her handler Deputy Fire Marshal Justin Sellers and both were certified as an accelerant detection K9 team by the American Working Dog Association (AWDA). Both are assigned at the Gaston County fire marshals office and are available to the counties that surround Gaston. When not on duty Colby resides at Deputy Sellers' residence where she is a much loved family pet.
